Speed

Starting in April 2017, RITTENHORST's off-site construction is completed faster than conventional building because the bulk of the labor is done at the factory rather than on the job site. This leads to smaller teams for tilt-up interior building, allowing contractors to complete tasks quickly and with less punch items. For many situations, modular construction is the better method because it is more reliant on technology and less on human labor. Today's skilled worker shortage makes it even more crucial.

Cost

The material cost structure has been flipped, and the labor cost structure has been turned upside down. The DIRTT Technical Design & Reimbursement Tool (TDR) replaces the traditional costing method with a unique proprietary software that calculates costs to the penny. With no hidden charges for complexity or customization, DIRTT's patented design tool produces change orders that are both equitable and predictable. Less laborers and waste equal lower overall expenses.
