Our Story
We began as an idea in 1988 when founder Stewart Davis began designing commercial interiors with future flexibility in mind. The introduction of Demountable office partition systems allowed facility managers to adapt to changes in their businesses, without the limitations of fixed construction. After decades of successful projects and new product innovations, the marketplace slowly adopted the concept. Following the Great Recession, conventional construction faced new material and labor challenges.
Pre-fab interior trade solutions were created to control quality, cost, and schedule, and deliver certainty to project teams that were willing to consider the alternative approach. /SHIFTT/ was created in 2017 to become the go-to resource for Pre-fab interior technical design and construction.
